Green Pizza


My favorite kind of pizza is different combinations of flavors that isn't typical on pizza.
One of my favorites is green pizza with some sort of fresh herbs or greens on it.

This combination is my personal favorite.
It is homemade pesto sauce, fresh baby arugula, feta cheese, and walnut pizza. 

Pesto Sauce:
1 to 1/2 cups of fresh basil
2 cloves of garlic
salt and pepper
2/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1/2-3/4 cup of walnuts (I just take some handfuls)

Grind the walnuts in a food processor so they are fine.
Grind the basil in a food processor and garlic cloves.
Add ground walnuts, basil, garlic, salt, pepper and olive oil in a blender.
Blend until smooth. If it isnt blending well, add more olive oil until fully blended.

Spread pesto on pizza dough, add baby arugula, feta, and walnuts on top. Cook until golden brown.
